惊门

好像一切都很糟糕
Ayşe, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. 邪恶校园
艾美從又濕又冷的浴缸裡驚醒，發現自己似乎被軟禁在一所廢棄的學校。身邊一片漆黑又恐怖，斑駁的牆壁上有一些詭譎的塗鴉。在她遭軟禁期間，只能與腦中想法相依。身為一名醫生，同時也是妻子和悲傷的母親，始終無法認清兒子因為意外已長眠的事實，並認為兒子也被困在學校裡面。在這充滿敵意、超自然煉獄般的學校，深陷於黑暗與絕望的艾美極力想要找到她的兒子。她不斷打破「學校」的規則，隨著艾美遇到住在「學校」的恐怖邪惡生物，令人畏懼的超自然力量與內心恐懼接踵而至，到底她對抗的是這些恐怖的生物，還是自己的心魔呢?
